The Kingdom of Stephanie Anderson

Stephanie Anderson (she/they) is a 24-year-old student, library worker, union organizer, and writer from Baltimore, Maryland. They completed a B.S. in English Writing from Towson University and are working towards an M.S. in Professional Writing from the same, with anticipated completion in spring 2025.

Stephanie has a background in grant writing, but like, that isn't very interesting.

Instead, Stephanie wants you to know that they have a Libra sun, moon, and mercury, with a Gemini rising. They bought a real human tooth from a market once and were immediately freaked out by it. Once, she listened to nothing but Believe by Cher for two weeks straight. They've been a vegetarian for their entire life, but no one else in their family is. If she had one wish right now, it would be for a life where she didn't have to constantly

throw away other people's mold. Or maybe to talk to ghosts.

When not working in words, she works circulation at the Baltimore County Public Library, where she also serves as her location's Union Steward and the Recording Secretary of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Local Lodge 4538. Unsurprisingly, she is quite firey about organizing and will slide you Union propaganda.

Otherwise, Stephanie spends her days going to concerts, bothering her cat, watching Australian reality TV with her partner, or conniving more ways to build community with the people in this world.

Midnight

This is my beloved familiar and eternal muse, Midnight.

An enormous baby, Midnight was surrendered by his previous owner with nothing but two pieces of fried chicken to his name, which may explain his being 20 pounds. He bites as a show of affection. He's going to live forever.

I am on a life's mission to teach him how to love.
